These torque values ensure that the bolts are tightened to the correct tension, avoiding over-tightening, which can cause damage to the bolts or the components they secure.
Spanner Size:
- Spanner/Wrench Size: 17mm Use a 17mm spanner or socket for tightening and loosening M10 bolts.
Drill and Tap Information and Links
- Drill Size for Tapping: 8.5mm To prepare a hole for threading an M10 bolt, use an 8.5mm drill bit.
- Tap Size: M10 x 1.5mm Use an M10 x 1.5mm tap to create internal threads in the drilled hole, ensuring a precise fit for the M10 bolt.
Applications: M10 Class 8.8 metric zinc-plated bolts are widely utilized in:
- Machinery and equipment assembly
- Automotive and aerospace industries
- Structural and construction projects
- DIY and home improvement tasks
- Furniture and cabinetry construction
These high-tensile bolts provide robust and reliable fastening solutions, capable of withstanding significant loads and stresses. The zinc plating ensures long-lasting performance and durability by protecting the bolts from corrosion.
